The NBA is going to great lengths to provide a versatile and comprehensive database of statistics, video replays, analysis, and other information on basketball teams and players. This new data strategy will bring a whole new level of statistic tracking to basketball fans and will revolutionize the way people watch the sport.

Overwhelmed by fluid, fast-paced play, basketball fans have long thirsted for more: more statistics, more video replays, more analysis, more information. Now the NBA has partnered with SAP and STATS LLC to create a new, totally comprehensive statistical database that records everything that happens in every NBA game.
