Gigabyte shows off thin, ultra-powerful gaming laptop

When it comes to gaming laptops, few companies worry about device bulk and heft, since powerful innards capable of rendering amazing graphics at blazing speeds are what really matters for the category. Gigabyte is joining Razer in trying to change that perception, however, with the new Aorus line of gaming devices announced during CES 2014.

If you’re in the market for a gaming laptop but you’d rather not get stuck lugging around some ten pound monster as thick as a George R. R. Martin novel, then a new gaming laptop from the equally new Aorus Ltd. just might be your dream come true. Unveiled at CES 2014 this week, the X7 gaming laptop is a sleek, thin 17-inch gaming rig that doesn’t disappoint, no matter how you look at it.
