Samsung Debuts Smart Fridge Series Boasting AI-Powered Vision Displays

In a new report update on the Samsung NewsRoom, it has unveiled a new range of smart refrigerators with built-in touchscreens, controlled by speech doors, and sophisticated AI features. A 9-inch AI Home screen is standard on the newest models, which include the 4-door, 4-door French door, and side-by-side refrigerators.

Smart Controls and Entertainment Features

Users may monitor the consumption of electricity, control SmartThings-connected appliances, and even stream music via Spotify with this display. Additionally, certain models come with an improved AI Vision Inside function that recognizes particular foods via an integrated camera.

Samsung‘s most recent refrigerators also revolutionize kitchen entertainment, enabling consumers to remain attentive while preparing meals or spending time with loved ones. Users may listen to their favourite podcasts or music straight from their refrigerator thanks to Spotify integration. Families may showcase their favourite pictures in the dedicated gallery function, which gives the kitchen a unique touch, and SmartView Mirroring makes it easy to share screens from smartphones or Samsung TVs (mentioned in a post on X).

Advanced Hybrid Cooling Technology For Optimal Freshness

In addition to smart features, several Samsung models now have Hybrid Cooling technology. This technology maintains ideal temperatures and extends the shelf life of food by combining a Peltier module with a traditional compressor. Even temperature fluctuations brought on by regular food shopping may be predicted by the AI system, which can then modify cooling appropriately.

Models, Design, and Availability

Samsung has not yet disclosed the new refrigerator lineup’s pricing information. The 4-Door French Door refrigerator will come in many configurations in North America, while the 4-Door model has a thin Kitchen Fit design. Additionally, the Side-by-Side model will have a range of screen sizes, such as a 9-inch AI Home screen and a 21.5-inch Family Hub.
