I know trailers are supposed to leave you wanting more but this new Halo 5 trailer is just ridiculous. For reasons unknown, Master Chief appears to be some kind of traitor, at least in the eyes of humanity, and the only way to find out why will be to buy the game when it comes out for the Xbox One on October 27th.
Why is everyone so mad at Master Chief? Why is everything in shambles? How did that statue escape destruction? There are many new questions from the latest Halo 5 trailer, but at least one previous question has been answered: When does the game release? This, as well as last week’s teaser trailer and ambiguous information tease, all seem to be painting Master Chief as some kind of traitor. Something he did, caused something bad to happen, and everyone is upset. It even seems to hint that maybe you don’t play as Master Chief in Halo 5, and instead hunt him down. The trailer also revealed the game’s release date. Halo 5 released October 27 on Xbox One.
