Yahoo considers acquiring Imgur

Ever since Marissa Mayer took over last year, Yahoo has been buying companies and services like crazy. Now, according to reports, Yahoo is having “serious talks” with Imgur about a potential acquisition.

Yahoo has been on a buying rampage since current CEO Marissa Mayer took over in 2012, most notably paying $1.1 billion to acquire Tumblr. Now, Business Insider is reporting that Mayer may be eyeing another popular content-sharing platform, Imgur.
