It looks like our waiting may finally be coming to an end. Teasers for a big Xiaomi product announcement event have started popping up on Chinese social media, and even though there’s little in the way of details, the timing of the event and the fact that the products are bring described as “next-generation” are dead giveaways. Although I wouldn’t go so far as to say the Mi5 and Mi Note 2 are guaranteed announcements, I can’t imagine Xiaomi NOT announcing them, as well as whatever cool new hardware it’s been working on.
Xiaomi has released quite a few devices, and various smart gadgets as well. Almost every month we were greeted with Xiaomi’s new products ranging from services such as Mi Mobile, Mi Gadgets to Mi Phones. 2 months ago Redmi Note 2 was announced along with Mi Wifi Nano which received overwhelming response as 800 k units were sold in 12 hours .The figure is still increasing tremendously. Then last month the Little Prince Mi 4c was born which caught everyone attention once again.Today there is a brand new teaser circulating in Weibo today. Yes, new products are coming soon on 19 October which is just a week from now ! Mark you calendar boys and girls! So what is the teaser about? The next generation. When we say about next generation it’s something futuristic which involving high tech, modern technology or design. This term is derived from Japanese word and used widely in game console. So what is the coming new product? Some high tech device where we can only see in James Bond’s or Terminator movie?
