A game’s success is normally measured in two ways: sales and reviews. In the case of Grand Theft Auto V, the scale is a bit different. This game’s success can be measured in the number of world records it can break, currently set at seven.

The latest iteration of Rockstar North’s GTA franchise was released last month amid acclaim from critics and queues around the block from fans waiting to pick up their copy at midnight.

Within 24 hours of its release the game had taken more than £500m worldwide and after three days it had passed the £1 billion mark.
