SPAM: The Infographic

Spam

Spam

Some find it delicious and others think it’s disgusting. It’s also very popular in Hawaii…

Oh, wait, that’s not he spam we’re talking about here, is it? Email spam is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to finding new and inventive ways to get into our view and through to our computers so we may click on a link, order a service, download something or another, or just plain read whatever it is that someone somewhere has to say.

We may hate it, but it’s part of our lives. Just as junkmail used to fill our mailbox, spam now fills our inbox. It’s the way of the world.

This infographic from Wikibon tells an interesting tail of the journey that spam has taken to get from somebody’s imagination to our computer screens.
