Someone pays $10K on eBay for a Gold iPhone 5s

In a clear case of having too much disposable income, someone paid $10,100 for an iPhone 5s. What makes it worse is that they had to outbid someone who was already willing to pay $10,000.

Apple’s gold iPhone 5s is not actually made of gold, but one eBay user paid the equivalent price for the new smartphone.

Bidding on a 16GB factory-unlocked “very hard to find” iPhone 5s ended Monday at 4 p.m. Eastern, with a final price tag of $10,100, plus $22.95 for shipping (image below).
