Some people might get a little sour over this LCD screen

It seems as tho technology researchers are getting bored and slapping a LCD screen on everything. Yesterday I wrote about the screen on your microwave that plays YouTube videos, (which seems like a good idea to me) and now they have gone and put a digital screen on your milk jug.

In theory I guess this is a good idea and will keep you from drinking spoiled milk but what’s next? A small LCD screen on our cutlery to tell us if its completely sanitized or not?

How does the jug actually work? Its pretty simple. It contains a sensor in the bottom and measures the acidity level of the milk and as the pH level drops, you will know from the reading on the LCD screen.

We all know the taste of sour milk and know to stop drinking it, but as reported from ehow.com, the jug may have seemed to be designed for children as children may not know better and continue to drink the milk. Once ingested, the sour milk can give similar symptoms as food poisoning and may cause stomach pains and diarrhea.

So before pouring that milk over your morning coco-puffs, make sure to check the front LCD screen to see if you have a “fresh” reading. Maybe this is for people who are too lazy to read the expiry date on the carton but if you ask me, every “techi” person wouldn’t mind a LCD screen on everything.
