Silic shirt utilizes nanotechnology to repel liquids and avoid stains

Avatar of Alfie Joshua Alfie Joshua December 24, 2013

Many have dreamed of the day when clothes no longer require washing, or require it far less often than they currently do, at least. With nanotechnology came this reality, though not in any significant way. That could be changing with the introduction of the Silic, a t-shirt that repels liquids and avoids being stained by both liquid substances and sweat.

With all of the water repelling nano-coating products out there, it’s high time someone made versions that were actually meant for clothing. The Silic shirt seems up to the challenge and, after breaking their Kickstarter goal five times over in its first few days, it’s not hard to see this being a popular item.
