Samsung is flooding the market with a bunch of new smartphones

Avatar of Michio Hasai Michio Hasai January 26, 2015

Some things never change. While Samsung has promised to change its smartphone business by changing its build quality and improving its software, it looks like the South Korean company will be sticking to its habit of flooding the market with a cacophony of devices. The company is supposedly releasing four new smartphones under a new series as well as numerous additions to other series bringing its total releases just for the near future to around ten smartphones.

Samsung’s new strategy is proving to be a little bit baffling. The company has said it will streamline its portfolio but since then has announced the A series, the E Series, and numerous individual smartphones, while a new series of smartphones is also on the way. Rumors are claiming that the new series of smartphone will be ushered in with the Galaxy J1, a device that will launch soon. There will be a J3, J5, J7 and on top of that Samsung is also adding a new A Series device and a new E Series device in the near future. All in all, Samsung is apparently prepping ten new smartphones to be released in the coming months. So, while the company is changing the quality of its build quality, streamlining its software, and focusing on key market, it seems Samsung is still going to flood the market.
