Rumor: There’s going to be a OnePlus 2 Mini later this year

We already know that OnePlus has multiple smartphones in the works at the moment, but the only one we have anything official on is the OnePlus 2. However, rumors of a OnePlus 2 Mini have been popping up, with the most recent rumors claiming that the device will feature some weaker, mid-range specs and will release sometime after the standard OnePlus 2 launches. 

We’ve heard the rumors about a OnePlus 2 mini and we now have it on good authority that OnePlus will indeed release a second, smaller phone this year. Read on to find out everything we know so far about the OnePlus 2 mini release date, price, specs and features. The OnePlus 2 mini release date will not coincide with the launch of the OnePlus 2 in late July. The OnePlus 2 mini launch will happen later in the year, but for now we can’t pinpoint an exact time. We think a launch somewhere in the weeks leading up to IFA 2015 makes sense. This would give the OnePlus 2 time to make an impact on its own and then let the mini have the spotlight before being drowned out by the Galaxy Note 5, LG G Pro 3 and Moto X (3rd generation).
