Internet Explorer, how far you’ve fallen. Whereas one Microsoft blindly and unrealistically decided to hedge its bets on the tainted web browser and kept pushing despite the fact that everyone hates it, now the company is driving nail after nail into its coffin. The latest nail comes from the announcement that Project Spartan, Microsoft’s new web browser, won’t utilize Internet Explorer’s browser engine in any way, not even for legacy support.

I liked Internet explorer and always looked forward to the next iteration. I saw improvement in version after version, until IE11.
Internet Explorer 11 is a disaster of a web browser riddled with annoyances. It constantly stops working and reloading itself. It won’t display part or all of some pages, pages that it displayed perfectly fine an hour before. When paging through a slide presentation, it would freeze in the middle for no reason. It sometimes refused to load my home page saying it was for my own protection, forcing me to close out and restart IE. These are only some of the maddening problems associated with Internet Explorer 11, none of which were in version 10. When I want to see something denied me by IE, I load up Firefox which has none of these issues.
I really wanted to like Internet Explorer but now I want to see it gone.
