Microsoft has started sending out invites for MWC 2015

We’re less than a month away from MWC 2015 in Barcelona and Microsoft has started sending out invitations for its big press event there. While most reports agree that Microsoft won’t be releasing a new high-end Lumia smartphone until much later in the year you can still expect the company to unveil some of the affordable lower end device that Windows Phone is known for.

Microsoft has started sending out invitations for a press event that it will hold at MWC in Barcelona on March 2nd. Don’t expect to see a new flagship Windows Phone model introduced at Barcelona as most reports indicate that a new high-end Lumia model won’t be introduced until sometime in September. Indications are that a low-end model in the Lumia 6xx range will be unveiled at MWC. Another model that might be primed for an sequel at MWC is the Nokia Lumia 1320. Despite its phablet-sized 6-inch screen and a large 3400mAh battery, this is not a high-end phone as evidenced by the 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage onboard the phone.

What do you think?
