Just how educational are educational iPad games?

Our kids love tablets. Some are using them before they know how to talk. Parents often try to use this time spent on the touchscreen to make them educational moments. Are they really working to make our kids smarter?

There’s no such thing as too much education, right?
As iPads have become ubiquitous, companies have rushed to develop educational games that teach math, physics and even urban planning.
