Improved Klout Perks are coming

Klout is our standard arena to where we look to have our social media efforts analyzed and as we already reported its latest changes to its algorithm and look, it is only fitting to keep you informed on the upcoming update to Klout Perks.

If you are unfamiliar of what Klout Perks are, you have been missing out my friend, since this is Klout’s rewarding system due to subjects you are influential in which is gathered from Twitter and from the +K’s received by peers.

Companies have been using Klout to market their brand by giving their products to those that are influential in their Industry, brand or TV show. Therefore allowing people who can spread their products or name via social media to do so usually amongst a large audience that according to the accumulated Klout score would listen to what that person would have to say and this is what businesses are banking on.

This is an innovative form of marketing and very smart too, since word of mouth has always proven to be the best form of marketing and companies have paid a lot of money to try and get their products and services out there amongst the people, where Klout enables businesses to do so without it being an advertisement, instead it becomes a free perk for you.

Klout Perks will be updating soon and perhaps some users have already seen an adjustment. On the right-hand side you will now be notified of the perk you are eligible to receive as well as able to claim it by simply clicking on the icon showing.

Today 1000 chosen influencers will receive free products from Hill’s Pet Nutrition on their new system and over the next few weeks Klout will be rolling out more new Perks via this new feature.

They are currently looking to have your feedback on the Perks your preference which you can easily let them know via a button on their blog to allow or deny e-mails regarding various Perks you are eligible for.

What are the changes to Klout Perks?

As already mentioned a new dock will be located on the right-hand side to notify you of your latest Perks. They will also be creating a fresh new look to the Perks page so all conversations regarding the Perk is streamlined to one area. Giving you more of an ability to personalize your feedback about the free Perk you received.

They will also be introducing a Klout waitlist so you will have an opportunity to sign-up for high-demand Perks so you won’t have to always see the “Sorry this Perk is full” note when trying to claim a Perk that you deserve. This way you are telling Klout that the product or service is what you want and therefore Klout can tell the business, their client that it is a demand of the people with hopes that they will then return more supply.

You will also receive an e-mail of your claimed Perk in order for you to see that you will in fact be getting it via the mail and to keep track of the time in which it takes for you to expect its arrival.

All of these changes are to help Klout users to gain the Perks that they earn from their social media activities and to remain informed as to when your earned Perk is available to you so you don’t miss out.

What other changes do you wish you could see from Klout?
