I know trailers are supposed to leave you wanting more but this new Halo 5 trailer is just ridiculous. For reasons unknown, Master Chief appears to be some kind of traitor, at least in the eyes of humanity, and the only way to find out why will be to buy the game when it comes out for the Xbox One on October 27th.

This, as well as last week’s teaser trailer and ambiguous information tease, all seem to be painting Master Chief as some kind of traitor. Something he did, caused something bad to happen, and everyone is upset. It even seems to hint that maybe you don’t play as Master Chief in Halo 5, and instead hunt him down. The trailer also revealed the game’s release date. Halo 5 released October 27 on Xbox One.
