Google is revamping caller IDs in their new Android update

KitKat, the latest version of Google’s Android, will implement Google Places and Google Apps into your contacts. This will enable several features including allowing you to see exactly where someone is calling you from and allowing you to search for contacts near you.

Google formally introduced KitKat, the newest flavor of Android, last week, but the company is still revealing new features of the platform: today it confirmed that the phone app is undergoing a major revamp in KitKat, chief of which is the displaying of caller IDs that are indexed from a range of Google services.
