Gigabyte launches new, ultra-compact gaming PC

GIGABYTE’s push on the BRIX has been with so much gusto it is hard to keep up with all the possible models coming to market and ones they are merely testing the water with.  Hot on the heels of their BRIX Pro being certified as a Steam Box at the Consumer Electronics Show, there were hints of BRIX models coming with discrete mobile graphics, namely the 8000M series.

Gigabyte launched its latest in the Brix series of ultra-compact PCs this week, the Brix Gaming. Taking the small-form PC to gaming, the Brix Gaming packs AMD technology to power its small box. With a footprint of only 59.6mm x 128mm x 115.4mm (2.35in x 5.04in x 4.54in), the small form factor is jumping to the market when the idea of the Steam machine is still fresh on the mind from this year’s Consumer Electronics Show.
