Apple’s visionary of the past talks about the future

He was the brains behind the iPod. He helped build Apple to what it is today. He’s reclusive to the point that you won’t lose geek cred if you don’t know the name Jony Ivy. Now, he’s talking about Apple’s future.

The man who designed the iPod ponders the question with furrowed brow.

“That’s a good one,” says Jony Ive, when asked what he would turn his talents to if Apple no longer required them. There’s a long silence, then a whispered, thoughtful and prolonged answer that boils down to one thing. He’s not going anywhere.
