Apple, ending years of negotiations, struck a deal to sell the iPhone through China Mobile , giving both companies a means to fight declining share in the world’s largest wireless market.

On Sunday, Apple and China Mobile announced a deal to bring the iPhoneto the Chinese carrier, the largest wireless network in the world, on Jan. 17.
