Apple’s Biggest Fan: Guy Creates iPhone Font From Apps

iPhone Font 2

Some people create paintings, some create sculptures, and yet others create music. But this guy decided to explore his love (or obsession) for Apple products. He did it by actually investing the time to organize his iPhone’s app pages in a way that each shows a distinct letter of the alphabet — and yes, all 26 letters are represented.

It is quite interesting to see, and it just goes to show you that there are an insane amount of applications in the App Store. He was able to find enough applications to match up in color and style to create a distinct font.

The person responsible, referred to as Urikane, went as far to create a whole Web page dedicated to his creation. There’s also an interesting video of the iPhone alphabet in action.

Yet we don’t know how much time and effort this guy put into this creation, and maybe that is a good thing.

So, is this guy really crazy? No way! He just loves his Apple gadgetry, and who can blame him — everyone and their mother has already pre-ordered an iPad. It’s a forgivable obsession.

This is, after all, art.

But make no mistake about it: time could be better spent on more important things — but then we wouldn’t have been able to write about this. It’s quite the conundrum.
