A functional iPhone 6 clone has already been released in China

Recently, the folks at NoWhereElse have posted some images of a fully functional iPhone 6 clone which is up for sale on Chinese shores. The device’s design follows the leaked information and mockups we’ve seen in the past few months, but it’s in no way running iOS or has the same internals the iPhone 6 is rumored to offer. Nonetheless, it looks quite promising, and follows exactly the same design as the dummy iPhone units. There’s no word about the OS, but it seems it’s running Android with some sort of launcher running on top of it to make it look like iOS. Apple is rumored to launch the upcoming iPhone 6 in September with two screen sizes: 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. The devices are said to come with an A8 processor under the hood as well as Touch ID sensor, an improved camera, and iOS 8 on top of it.

The hype is slowly but surely building for Apple’s next generation iPhone and within a few months time the company is going to officially unveil it. Almost every year we tend to see a few clones before Apple’s new iPhone comes out and this time its no different. A working iPhone 6 clone has already been released. It looks a lot like all of those leaked iPhone 6 dummy modelswe have seen multiple times and it even runs an OS that is skinned very much like actual iOS. Its always hard to find out exactly what the specifications of such clones are since they’re not advertised openly. Though it wouldn’t surprise anyone to find out that this iPhone 6 clone has an underpowered processor, a similar camera, no Touch ID fingerprint sensor and obviously no premium feel from the build quality. It is not known how much this iPhone 6 clone costs though its highly unlikely for this clone to make its way outside of China. Clones made in China are rarely offered in other parts of the world, but those who’re waiting for the iPhone 6 there will have something similar to tout until Apple officially launches its new smartphone. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 this September. Apart from larger displays, rumor has it that the next generation iPhone models will tout better cameras, faster A8 processor and a thinner as well as lighter build overall.
