It appears the hype around the Facebook movie The Social Network has climaxed, as the one person who stated he would never see the movie has finally caved.
Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s privacy-hating CEO and the focus of the new hit movie decided to take his staff to see a screening of the film.
“To celebrate a period of intense activity at Facebook, we decided to go to the movies. We thought this particular movie might be amusing,” the spokesperson said.
The group even treated themselves to apple martinis after, the same drink Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake’s characters indulge in on screen.
After originally stating he wouldn’t see the movie, Zuckerberg grew back his sense of humor and decided to check it out.
Zuckerberg called the movie “fun” during his appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show to promote his $100 million donation to New Jersey Schools.
