The rise of offshore Facebook like farms

There are always marketing farms of some sort in the world. As long as clicks, views, and links need button clickers to make them happen, low-cost farms are going to be created overseas. The latest plague: Facebook likes.

Internet companies in New Delhi have found a new niche market in selling Facebook likes. In an undercover investigation, FRANCE 24 journalists have found that these “click-farms” offer over 150,000 likes in two or three months for a fixed price.
