Steve Wozniak declares first clip from Steve Jobs biopic “Not close”

jOBS

When Gizmodo posted the Entertainment Weekly video of the first released clip from the upcoming movie jOBS, they declared in their headline that it was “actually pretty good”. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak disagreed in the comments.

Not close…we never had such interaction and roles…I’m not even sure what it’s getting at…personalities are very wrong although mine is closer…don’t forget that my purpose was inspired by the values of the Homebrew Computer Club along with ideas of the value of such machines and Steve J. wasn’t around and didn’t attend the club so he was the one learning about such social impact of the future.

The biopic about the life of the other Apple co-founder who died in October, 2011, features Ashton Kutcher as the iconic tech pioneer. Actor Josh Gad from the television series 1600 Penn plays the Woz more closely to reality than Kutcher’s Jobs according to Wozniak, but clearly not enough to impress him.

Here’s the clip. Are you excited to see it or is this going to be another mistreatment of the Steve Jobs legacy?
