Did Google Get Hacked?

The bust up between Google and China is ongoing, and the latest news is that Google’s corporate page may have been hacked.

Users searching Google for “Google executives” were shown an English link, but the resulting page is in Chinese.

The redirection occurs only in some areas, but is clearly reproducible even after clearing caches. A recent statement from Google indicates this might be more of a glitch in the way the site handles language translation.

Google is in the middle of withdrawing it’s search products from China, winding down with current partners, and the result so far has been frustration for end users.

It clearly won’t be long before the Chinese government to release a formal statement aimed at Google, declaring “all your base are belong to us”?
